Warehouse Operative
Our client in Oldham is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work at their Processing and Distribution site
The work will involve:
- Scanning incoming goods and sorting
- Packing, Wrapping and Palletizing outgoing materials
- Using scanners and computers
- Loading & Unloading Vehicles
- Manual Lifting
- General Warehouse Duties when needed
- Housekeeping
Working times and pay:
- 08:00-16:00
- Monday to Friday
- Optional Overtime available at the weekends on occasion
- 37.5 Hours per week paid after breaks
- £12.71 p/h initially, increasing to £13.45 p/h after 12 working weeks
- Long-term role with permanent opportunities
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Previous Warehousing, Production or Recycling Experience essential
- Candidates need to be physically fit and able to do some lifting and manual work
- Scanners and Computers experience an advantage but training can be given
