Our client in Haslingden is looking to recruit a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work out of their manufacturing and distribution site

The work will involve:

• Delivery of Furniture to clients in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
• Working with another driver or drivers mate
• Unloading vehicles at each drop
• Helping with taking furniture into customers premises and laying out to a site plan
• Doing basic assembly duties where needed
• Heavy lifting

The working times and pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 03:00-04:00 starts
• £12.50 – £13.00 p/h initially, reviewed at 3 months for potential increase
• Weekend work on very rare occasions
• Overtime paid at x 1.25 over 40 hours and any weekend work x 1.5
• Shift length can vary dependant on route, traffic and number of drops

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

• 7.5 Tonne (CAT C1) Licence
• CPC
• Digi-Tacho
• No more than 6 points due to insurance purposes
• Candidates need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role and the goods
