Our client in Trafford Park is looking to recruit Wood Machinists for temp to perm positions working in their Timber Production Area:

The role will involve:

• Operating Woodworking Machinery to cut Softwood and Hardwood Timber
• Operating Multi-head Moulders such as Wadkin or Weinig Machines
• Quality checking products
• Preparing orders for despatch
• Housekeeping duties to ensure clean and safe working environment
• General Yard and Warehouse work as needed

The working times and pay:

• Monday to Thursday 07:15-16:30 and 07:45-13:45 on Fridays
• Roughly 40 hours per week after breaks
• 12 week temp to perm opportunities
• £11.74 – 12.51 p/h dependant on experience
• Progression opportunities

Skills/Experience Needed:

• Previous experience working in Timber Production or a Woodworking role
• Experience operating machines to cut materials including timber
• Candidates need to be physically fit due to heavy lifting involved and the physical nature of the role
