Reliable Recruit are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor for a permanent role based at our clients site in Rochdale:

The work will involve:

• Ensuring Customers orders are dispatched on time and as per customer instructions
• Taking in Deliveries from suppliers and quality checking prior to storing and racking
• Managing a small team alongside a manager including attendance, timekeeping, absence reporting, training and hiring
• Opening up the warehouse pre staff arriving and locking up post courier pick-up in a rota with the manager
• General warehouse and yard up keep
• Annual Stock Takes and regular stock rotation
• Operating Reach & Counterbalance FLT’s

The working times and pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week with overtime required to suit businesses needs
• 08:00-17:00
• £25,000 per annum rising to £28,000 upon completion of a 6 month probationary period
• Permanent Role
• Parking provided, Friday Lunches bought, Annual and Monthly bonus schemes
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional day for your birthday

Skills/Experience Needed:

• Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in a Warehouse Environment
• Some knowledge of international shipping preferred
• Racking and Storage Knowledge
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and computers
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
