Our client in Haslingden, Rossendale is looking to recruit a Bench Joiner/Wood Machinist for a temp to perm role out of their manufacturing and distribution site

The role will involve:

• Following plans to make and fit seating units and other goods
• Setting and Operating Machines
• Using various hand tools
• Quality checking finished goods
• Working in the wood shop and on jobs around the UK, installing products

The working times and pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-16:30
• 40 hours per week after breaks
• £12.50 – £14.00 p/h dependant on experience. Pay increases with progression
• Overtime after 40 hours at x 1.25 in the week and x 1.5 at the weekends
• 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate

Skills/Experience Needed:

• Previous Woodwork/Machinery experience
• Experience working with furniture manufacturing preferred
• UK Driving Licence, preferably clean
• Must be willing to travel to sites around the UK, working hours will vary
