Reliable Recruit are looking to hire a Warehouse Manager to work out of our clients manufacturing and distribution site in Bury

The work will involve:

• Allocating Labour between Pickers, Packers, Goods-In, Goods Out & Drivers – around 8-10 staff daily
• Ensuring department KPI’s are being met whilst maintaining quality standards, housekeeping and health and safety
• Leading, motivating and training the Team
• Stock Management
• Planning delivery routes and organising 3rd party carriers
• Dealing with external suppliers, sourcing new ones and negotiating terms
• Seeking ways to make improvements in structure, layout, safety and overall efficiency
• Liaising between sales, production and Management

The working times and pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00-17:00, occasional longer hours where the operation needs
• 40 hours per week
• Up to £35,000 per annum dependant on experience
• Additional Leave after 5 years service and additional days for Christmas leave
• Permanent Role

Skills/Experience Needed:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager is essential
• Transport experience including compliance and legal responsibilities
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Good Numeracy, Literacy and IT Skills
• Good People skills and ability to train and mentor new employees alongside the existing team
• ISO Trained or a good understanding would be advantageous
• Experience working with Lean Practices would be an added bonus
